Say your character got a car. What kind of car would it be? Doubtlessly, a mini cooper. Ethan thinks they're just so small and compact, they offer him an exclusion from the world. He also loves the design like me. What is your character's posture like? Well, he's not lazy, but just doesn't do much...So I guess Ethan's posture is just ordinary. He always droops his head when his walking though, that way it's easier to see what he's skuffing along the floor.

Hate to have gone the cliche route, but.. they be dead. ^^
Uhm, his father was a gnome that lived in the south (Elves particularly fond of masonry/jewelcrafting, typically Dwarvish delights, are called gnomes). The sister of the King of Gondolin, Aredhel, (a very well concealed kingdom in the mountains) escaped (I forgot how/why) and traveled south for a while. Narthas' father's father, Eol, pretty much kidnapped her and seduced her. They had a son, Maeglin. After a while, she took her son and escaped from Eol's house and went back to Gondolin, but Eol followed them. Upon reentering the kingdom the three of them were taken to court, where Eol said something to the extent of his owning his son, so if he couldn't keep his wife, then he would definitely keep his son. Maeglin refused to leave Aredhel, and so in a rage, Eol threw a knife at him, but his mother took the blow for him an died. And so Eol was put to death for his crime, leaving Maeglin parentless. That alone is enough to mess a guy up.
And so he ended up falling in love with his first cousin, the King's daughter, Idril, but couldn't have her for obvious reasons. And so he instead married the Lord Ecthelion's daughter, Nyelesil. (Ecthelion was the highest ranking elf in the kingdom, second to the King himself.)
And so, Narthas was born. Blah blah blah, shitty things happen to him because his dad is messed up, and when Idril gets married to a mortal man, Tuor, Maeglin goes bat shit on everyone and really makes domestic life a living hell because he's still infatuated with her on some level.
Years pass, and Maeglin eventually disappears in one of his mines in the surrounding mountains. He's gone for months, and everyone kind of thinks he's dead, but doesn't really care because they didn't like him that much to begin with. Narthas, only ever having seen the brooding, angry man that his father was in the latter years of his life, suspects something. Eventually he returns a long while later, claiming to just having been lost, when in reality he was captured by the Dark Lord, and promised Idril's love if he would reveal Gondolin's location. And of course, being blinded by hate and love, he did, andwas let go.
Some years later, Gondolin is attacked. No one expects it other than Maeglin, and the siege on the city is like a firestorm. Narthas, having been closer to Ecthelion his grandfather than Maeglin, was recruited into the Lord's ranks to fight under the house of the Fountain, rather than Maeglin's house of the Mole. Fighting goes on for several hours until Narthas sees Tuor get into a fight with Maeglin. Tuor and Idril were notorious for hating him, and even revealed to Narthas and his mother their secret way out of Gondolin that they'd been working on for years. Anyways. Tuor and Maeglin exchange blows, and it is at this point that Tuor knows he'd betrayed the location of the hidden city to the dark lord Morgoth, and so knocks him off a wall. Narthas gets to watch his father smash into the hillside three times (probably a 50-100 foot drop from the top of the wall?) before he disappears in the fire and ranks of orcs below.
And so, Tuor and Idril's followers get to escape through the secret way. Ecthelion dies in the courtyard fountain, drowned by the carcass of a Balrog he slew. Narthas doesn't see this, but he does come across his fatally wounded mother. They make it out alive, but she dies of an infection several days later.
Any other family that Narthas had probably died in that battle, but he doesn't know for sure. He left the Elvish refugees when Nyellesil perished, to seek a life with Tuor's people to the east, and it was hundreds of years before he saw any elves thereafter. He took on an alias, Randomiƫ, so that anyone from that old world wouldn't know who he was.
...so perhaps there is an elf yet that he is related to, but because of these events, they would never know each other even if they met face to face.

Rye's family situation is quite messed up. Her father and mother were married for quite a while, a long enough while to raise two children, Bagelle and Rye. But her mum and dad grew apart and it soon came out that they were getting a divorce. Unfortunately, later in the book it also comes out that her dad, Gent, is gay and he is moving in with a man named Stewart and his son Brehnnan. They get married and live together in a posh apartment (Stewart is quite rich.)
They're kind, but Bagelle lives with her mum Ella, who is dating a man named Jack. Jack adopted a little Vietnamese boy named Chen. Both live in a different house than Ella and Bagelle. Rye moves in between both but she mostly stays with Mollie, Brent, and Ann.

(OOOH I've been working all this out) Holly's (yes, I've had to go cliche as well) parents were not very good with each other, as her father was kind of a one-night-stand and her mum wasn't mpressed at first when she found she was pregnant. Then, the babies inside her moved and the children she hadn't wanted becme her children. She was scared of the abortionists, and this is a good thing for Holly and Micky, but a very bad thing for Maura, her mother. Maura died in child birth, after giving birth to forth Micky, then Holly, a bit too early and something went wrong so she died (oh, so dramatic) Then their Aunt Maeve, and Uncle Joe stepped in and the twins consider them their parents.
(LAter in the book, there is a car crash-(milk tank driver is drunk, and late and speeding, sweeps around a corner, skids, and flattens Maeve's and Joe's car as they drive up to see Holly and Micky.)

I would suggest as a cause for her death, serious hemorrhaging, and the babies were delivered by c-section just in time.

If a portrait were to be painted of your character, what colors would be used (full-color, monochromatic red, cool tones, etc.), and what pose would they be in (typical sitting, arms folded neatly; a haughty stand with hands on hips, etc.)?

Probably a shoulders up of Holly with her arms around her brother and her aunt and uncle. She's an artist (in her proper story...so silly confuzzled) so she prefers not to paint herself. Anyway, it would be in oils and probably in quite dark colours, with a few bright splashes that just about leap off the canvas...and she would be grinning or laughing, and the painting would show the emotion, the family and happiness with her.

Rye would have a very friendly picture with warm tones such as red and silver. It would show her in a comfortable pose, perhaps with a cell phone in her lap. She'd look very comfortable and wide-eyed, like she was just caught after being told a rather funny joke, not very pose-y or stiff.

Narthas would probably be in a full or partial suit of armor, in the middle of dueling someone most likely. He would be in the middle of laughing or making a silly face most likely, as there is a small part of him that loves being a ham.

Ethan would probably sat expressionlessly, though staring away from the picture. Well, being nice, maybe he would want to be with his friend in the painting, but that wouldn't be a portrait, would it?
I guess it would be in washy, very watered colours. And maybe in the shadows or at dusk.

Ember would probably be standing up, with her arms crossed, staring right at the painter. Her face would look like she wanted to go eat him, which she probably did after he was done. It would be all red and black, and Kayden would be beside her.

(oh.. I didn't know we weren't supposed to rp them.. hehe. Guess I'll answer those last four questions)
Say your character got a car. What kind of car would it be?
Car? Who needs a car when you can fly everywhere on your own set of wings? Duke doesn't need or want a car, and he wouldn't be able to fit in one without destrying it. Hehe.
What is your character's posture like?
Duke posture... It's pretty good, and he holds himself high, and quite frankly, his posture makes him look kinda haughty. Which he is.
What is your character's family situation like?
Um.... His parents sold him to slavedrivers when he was young so they could afford to care for his baby sister. Now he doesn't know what happened to them.
If a portrait were to be painted of your character, what colors would be used (full-color, monochromatic red, cool tones, etc.), and what pose would they be in (typical sitting, arms folded neatly; a haughty stand with hands on hips, etc.)?
Hm... Well, there would be lots of shading and some cool contrasts, and it would be a firey background. Duke would have his arms crossed across his chest, chin up, and one of his feet would be on a rock. Yeah. He would have a haughty look and his face along with a super-charming crooked smile.
