I haven't writen for almost a year now. And I reckon it's partly because of this fading board!
So basically, wth should I write? I've tried absoloutly loads. I watch some action thing and then I wanna write action....then I watch some really emotional thing and I wanna write something like that. I can't make my mind up.
I think that I'm torn between writing about some sort of fighting adventure envolving a teeanger...but that's common....or an adventrue set somewhere really nice like a rainforest. I'm obsessed with rainforests. But I'm also obsessed with making snappy little jokes which can only be incorperated into the teenage thing, eg "I'm going to take over the world..." "Okay, Pinky or the Brain". Wahey see what I did there?! I like that joke. Anyway, what should I do? And no I can't mix...I'm to picky. Or write a short story. Those are my short stories! Or some sort of poem, just...no.
So I guess it's witty story or serious story. Any suggestions?

You have to find a happy medium and incorperate all of the things you know how to do, is what it sounds like. For example: You like vampires, dry wit and sarcasm, medieval stuff, nature, tragedic plays, and emotional rollercosaters. Here's what you do - Your main character is a sarcastic bitch who may or may not be a vampire. She will come in contact with a vampire, however. The setting is in a forest town in the medieval times. You write in first person from the main character's point of view so that you can focus on all of her emotions and inner struggles and drama, and you KILL EVERYONE. That's the tragedy part. lol. This is my example for MY story. Obviously. ^^; Anyway, sounds like what you should do is make the rainforest the setting, and the time something that you know a lot about. Maybe instead of a teenager, your main character could be a young adult, and if you like action scenes... maybe go for a typical comic-book hero type story, since those are actually kind of rare now. Your character could be developing their powers, and there's your emotional part, but they'd wind up having to kick total ass. And maybe their sidekick or best friend or mentor or whatever is a Robin Williams type person or a complete smartass and has too many jokes for their own good. You just have to mesh everything together so that it's cohesive, but it IS okay to mesh everything together.
