NOT FINISHED!
“The portal must be opened.” The wizard was talking oddly, in low hushed tones. “They will come, and the war will be fought, crimson essence of light, ice, blood, and gloom clans will fall and pepper the battlefield that Qeyerin will become. The crystal of Aire will be opened, and all strengths will be tested.
Irya nodded, gesturing toward an opening in the wall. It was like a fireplace that had been busted through, the opening showed a grassy meadow behind it, filled with yellow flowers. “If it must be.”
Teague walked up to the opening and knelt in front of it, murmuring some words over ashes that already lay there. A fire sprung up and became a circular haze of silver. A hole opened in it, revealing a dim, concrete basement. He turned, his eyes alight with the same glow of the fire. “Now we must wait.”

“You’re it!” Maggie tagged her older cousin then ran away screaming, knowing he would catch her eventually. Maggie and her mother had been spending a lot of time at her cousin's since his dad died, but she liked spending time with them. She ran past her mother, into the house, and stopped when she saw her mother's angry face.
"What did I tell you about running in the house?! This isn't our home, and it is not polite to play tag inside. If you break something it's your allowence who's coming out of it little missy!" Maggie glanced over her shoulder, making sure that Jake wasn't coming in, but he was still looking around outside. "Pay attention when I'm talking to you young lady!"
As soon as Maggie turned around to face her mom she heard the door opening behind her and istantly ran off to another room "Got it Mom!" She could hear Jake's footsteps closing in behind her, and she made a sharp turn, almost knocking over a lamp.
SKIPPING! NOT FINISHED!
As she reached the bottom step she stopped, there was a strange glow all around the room. Stepping slowly farther into the room she froze again, noticing the silver circle hovering on one of the walls. She leaned forward, just able to make out a room and two figures when a firm hand grasped her shoulder.
“What is that?” Jake was talking softly, as though they could be heard through the…portal, that’s what it was.
“Some sort of portal,” she murmured, stepping closer too it until she was just in front of it, only inches away. Behind her she heard Jake telling her not to go any closer, but, against his judgment, she stepped into it. She had walked right into the room she thought she had seen through the silver glow of the portal on the other side and the two figures were standing before her. One of them was very tall, and he had eyes that seemed to glow. As she felt her cousin step through the portal behind her, though, she saw the light going out and turned around to see that the portal was born.
Jake stood up straight, he had had to bend down to get in the portal and his eyes widened, probably at the sight of the girl. She wasn’t as tall as the person beside her, but she was in every way more magnificent. As she walked towards them, she noticed that everything about her was yellow, well not so nearly yellow as the fact that she seemed to glow with light. She stopped in front of Maggie and bent down, looking her straight in the eye.
“I am Irya, the Queen of Light here in Qeyerin. This is Teague, the current wizard of all four queens.” As she saw both children’s eyes become confused, she continued, hoping they would understand. “You are no longer in your world. You have traveled here through the portal between our worlds to save us, for impending disaster is coming. Standing up she walked over to her desk and pulled out a map, untying it carefully. Waiting until the children were beside her she began to speak again, this time pointing at places on the map.
