And suddenly, in a bright flash of white and yellow light, Lady Hammer came down floating on her own little personal cloud, dangling her large, hooped, golden earings in a happy stupor.
"Good evening, everyone!" she said with a gleaming smile. Her aura was puzzling - a little bit of a goddess, but not much. Her long, dusty blonde hair went past her waist and was accented with a tribal headband, and her dusty blue eyes scanned over the campers. On each cheek was a large, rounded red stripe that curved with her smile, and her flowing white peasant gown accented it nicely. Bedecking her neck, ears, and wrists were countless golden tribal bangles and bands.
"It seems there's a little bit of trouble, doesn't it? Well, let me welcome you CampLand!"
Instantly, the shelter around them vanished, and they were spun all around the tiny globe in a quick tour. The whole world was a small forest.
"CampLand is its own little world. There is no New York, there is now Icemarrow, there is no Vaskio. It is all CampLand! Now, have you all been acquainted?"

"You could say something like that." Jake said, laughing at her absurd statement. "Do you know how many fights have broken out?"
Welcome Lady. Your coming had been much anticipated. Satchel thought happily. May I suggest you put Aeslyn and Silkia on the same team?
Heck no! I would die before I was on a team with her. Silkia barked, wings fluttering nervously.

Kora lifted her head up sleepily, Watching Lady float down on a fluffy cloud. and was instantly wide awake. "Hi!Do we get put into teams now?"

"Yeah, sure." Kat said grouchily, still drawing. "Met, fought, attempted murder several times. You coulda shown up a bit earlier, I was just about to call Hermiod and see if he could get my ass outta this loony bin."

Kat's words irritated Lady a bit, but she quickly ignored the comment.
"Well, I couldn't come because I was asleep, thankyou very much. Every woman needs her beauty sleep. NOW..."
Lady scanned over her roster, catching a glimpse of Lanz out of the corner of her eyes and tried to hide a grin.
"Any requests? Not that I'll grant them or anything, but you might as well give them to me!"

Kora and I would like to stay together... Satchel thought, wondering if she really would separate them.
"And I want to be on a team with Silkia." Jake said. And so help him, if they were separated, he would sue Lady for all she was worth.
"Separate Jake and Silki." Kora muttered, walking over to where her cat stood.

Lady sighed and stroked her hair.
"I'm sorry, I cannot keep you and your companions together. It just wouldn't be fair to everyone else. And just as Kora and Jake will be separated from Satchel and Silkia," Lady looked to Lanz, "so will Lanz and Levviel."
The necromancer had known it all along.
"So, I'm sorry for that. Anything else?"

Closing her sketchbook with a snap and shoving it back in her bag Kat finally looked up. "Not really, just keep the lizard over there outta my head and I'll do you a favor and try not to murder anyone the first day."

"Hi." Lacey waved awkwardly as she climbed down from the passenger side of her father's truck. She blew him a kiss before shutting the door, shifting nervously as he drew away. She turned to the others, taking a few stiff steps on her braced legs. "Sorry I'm late."

You are NOT separating me and Jake! Silkia roared, fire bursting from her maw.
"Calm down Silki! " Jake said, placing a soothing hand on the dragon's back. "Miss Lady, I have money. Perhaps there is some way we can reason with you?"
"How is that not fair! Why can't we stay together!" Kora yelled, stepping forward.
Kora, calm yourself. Do you see Lanz complaining?
"No..." She turned to the new girl, still furious with Lady. "Hi! I'm Kora! And the big flying lizard is a dragon, Silkia. The little kitty next to me is Satchel." The cat stuck his paw out, expecting her to shake it.

"Um, what's that?" Lacey pointed at the dragon, turning her attention away from Kat. She raised an eyebrow. Dragons she'd heard of, but it still was a wierd sight. She'd expected camp to be more...human oriented. "And who's getting separated?"

Glancing at the profered hand Kat rolled her eyes and instead pulled her gun back out of her pack, slipping it into the waistband of her pants and standing so that she was taller than the other girl. "I strongly suggest that you leave me alone. For your safety." There was an unpleasant glint in her eyes, almost as if she wanted to carry through with her threat of murdering someone if another girl showed up.

Lady rolled her eyes.
"Please, Silkia, while it is possible for Aeslyn to be harmed in a fight, I am immortal. And I will most definitely separate the two of you. And no, Jake, thank you for the money, but where I come from it isn't the correct form of currency.
NOW. There will be 3 teams:
Rocutia
Liberium
Sanctum
Now give me a second to think about who I want to put where..."
