Aeslyn was getting ready to strangle Silkia. But, she refrained. Instead, she had words.
"Excuse me? I had better watch myself? You are in no position to tell me to watch it. You're just a damn baby. You wait till you're in a real fight with someone who knows what they're doing. That, and you keep your creep you're babysitting away from Kora!"
Lanz was getting a bit annoyed.
"If it's seniority you're so in love with, then shut up because I'm older than you," he said, pushing her into a different seat a little farther away from the bunch.

"I'm sorry, but Silki, babysitting ME? I am older than her I will have you know, and furthermore-" Stop Jake, it is a pointless battle. And I am sure that Aeslyn over there has never seen the true harm a dragon, even a 'baby' like me, can do. Silki said, face twisted into a snarl. "Were you guys serious?! Jake and I might actually end up on the same team?" Kora asked, panicking. Calm down Kora, it's not like he can do anything to you. Satchel unsheathed his claws, keeping an eye on Jake.

"HAH! You think I've never seen what a dragon can do?!" Aeslyn shouted, now furious. "I live in the city where Chaos thrives! I've seen necromancers with rotting flesh riding carrion dragons, leading armies of skeletons into my town! I've fought beside watchmen trying to fend them off and have seen them died! So do yourself a favor and keep Jake-" she made sure to say this as snidely as possible, "- out of Kora's business."
Lanz, caring more about Kora at this point than what Aeslyn was doing, took a stand beside her.
"Don't worry. I doubt anyone would be so cruel as to put the two of you on a team together, seeing how things are turning out right now. At least if *AHEM*LADY*AHEM* is smart."

"Thank you Lanz, I feel better." Kora laughed, looking around. "Where is Lady anyway? She is the camp director, isn't she?" "Actually, Lanz I believe I read somewhere in the rules that the people with the most conflicting personalities would be put together." Jake, you are such a leach. Why can't you just leave Kora alone? Satchel asked angrily. "Satchel! Put the claws away!" Kora said. "I'll take care of it."
Meanwhile, Silki was hissing softly at Aeslyn angrily. You really need to get that inferiority complex of yours taken care of.

"If I felt I had an inferiority complex, I wouldn't have cemented my wishes so clearly. You need to get YOURS in check."
Aeslyn yelling to thin air. Lanz shook his head.
"Lady is, well... I don't kow. But if she's nice at all, she wouldn't put you and Jake together. By conflicting personalities, I think she means Jake and Aeslyn. Conflicting in the way that Jake wouldn't have his... 'guard' with him. Because I think Satchel and Jake's dragon will be split up, as well," he said.
And suddenly, there was a noise from further in the campgrounds, and right away, the man recognized it. He did his best to hide a smile. A large yet noticeable still 'colt-ish' equine emerged from a dense forest, black as night with blue flames licking it's neck and tail. A black horn protruded from it's head, glinting in the sun in the slightly overcast sky, and its golden eyes met with Lanz's earthy brown ones.
"Levviel!"
The equine trotted over, avoiding the other two non-humans and standing strictly at Lanz's side.
"Are you managing to keep her out of trouble?" he said to Lanz. The man could hear the voice in his head and chuckled to himself, aware that everyone would probably think him crazy for laughing at nothing.
"Barely," he thought back.

"What! Satchel and I will be split up!! She can't do that! Although, it would be hilarious to see Jake and Aeslyn end up on the same team. But she CANNOT split me and Satchel up!" "She can't split me and Silki up either! Do you know what that would do it's just so-" So appropriate for Kora and Satchel. You need to learn to stand on your feet without him, Kora. Silki said, turning her attention away from Aeslyn for a moment. Then Jake needs to learn to stand on his own without you! What? I didn't say that! I said- I know what you said, you little hypocrite.

Mounting his steed, colt moreso, Lanz began to leave the scene with Levviel, paying no heed as Aeslyn got immensely incensed.
"Hey! This orientation isn't over! Get over here!" she said, standing up. "You and your damned pony!"
"I'd rather meditate," Lanz called back. "Calm down. You should try it."
Aeslyn knew she was a little steamier than usual, but wasn't going to openly admit anything close to that. Sitting down next to Kora, she put her head in her hands and sighed.

"You alright Aeslyn?" Kora asked, turning away from the bickering pair in the corner, and Jake who was still spluttering about how Lady absolutley COULD NOT split him and Silki up. "Jake is a jerk, I know."

"I'm fine. I just need to cool it. I get worked up easily, and my sister used to tell me it was an ego thing. Then I used to hit her." Aeslyn laughed a little bit with memories and then laid back in her chair, wondering where Lanz the Recluse was headed. "I wonder if he knows that there's no way to get out of here..."

"You have a sister? Awesome! What's her name?" Kora asked, looking back for a moment at Satchel, making sure he hadn't torn one of Silkia's wings off. Nope, they were still just arguing. "You can get out of the room... But I think the area outside is surrounded by water."

"Lady's not gonna let us out of this place until the camp activities are over. She's weird and sadistic like that," Aeslyn sighed. "But anyway, my sister's name is Kedo. She's younger, and let me tell you... sometimes I can't stand her. I think I might be jealous... I can't believe I'm admitting this."

"I know what you mean. I don't actually HAVE a little sister, but I have seen older sister's and the little ones tagging along after them, and they do NOT look like they are having fun." I am out of here Silki. Satchel said, padding over to Kora. "Do you actually know Lady? I haven't seen her yet, and I am starting to question her existence."

Thinking of Lanz, Aeslyn smiled when thinking of Lady.
"Actually yes I do know her. She's in our 'universe' I guess you'd call it. The one who runs this whole camp ordeal saw the character as sort of an embodiment of herself and that's where she gets her own name now."
If only Lanz were in the immediate area, Aeslyn thought. He wouldn't stop talking about the damn woman.

"Cool! I can't wait to be put into teams. Do you really think you and Jake will end up on the same team? And is she really heartless enough to separate Satchel and I?" Kora said, patting the seat behind her. Satchel jumped up, and attempted to curl up on the tiny human sized chair.

"I wouldn't put it past her. She likes to test people," Aeslyn said, stretching her arms and yawning. "And as far as being put into teams, I think I screwed myself over when I yelled at that prick and his babysitter. Lady will probably put me in a team with them now."
She was a little upset that Lanz had left, and her curiosity was killing her now. Fidgety, she bit her lip.
