A sudden anger boiled up inside of her. Why was she letting this jerk push her around? Her eyes narrowed. Her heart pumped. Fire shot from her hands, and his terrified shriek echoed through her house.
Beads of cold sweat dripped from her forehead as she sat up from the nightmare. Tears flooded her eyes, blurring her vision and drifting down her cheeks. She had remembered about last night.
Yet she forced herself to get up and go to school. No one would have even thought of doing that if there wasn't something wrong with her, right? She had probably deserved it... But she would tell no one. This was her problem. Her fault.

"Hey, your quiet.." Julie said as they walked down the hall. They had met in fourth period physical education. "Or do I just not know you very well?"
"Oh, I'm fine.. Everyone can have their quiet days, right?" She replied.
"Wassup, tree hugger!!"
"Hey, why are you here? Shouldn't you be protecting an animal no one knows about right now?" taunts echoed through the hall at Julie. Okay, she was a vegan, a 'tree hugger'. If there was anything about protecting nature, she was there. Julie simply ignored the taunts, and kept going down the hall, head high.
When they got to Julie's locker, Sarah reluctantly left. The bell would soon ring, and she had to get her books.
Dreading the moment she would see Troy, her feet dragged down the hall, only too soon arriving at her destination. Of course, Troy was standing there as if he was waiting for her. What would he say? What would he do? What would she say and do?
Sarah slowly opened her locker, Troy only staring at her. He was making her uncomfortable, so she turned away, aiming to go to her first class. He grabbed her wrist, and in front of everyone, kissed her. A few eyebrows raised at the public show of affection. He leaned over and whispered in her ear, "I'm sorry about last night. I got out of control. Can you please forgive me?" She looked into his eyes, so full of concern and sincerity. She gave him a small nod, and the staring people drifted away, most likley talking about her and Troy.
As he walked her to her class, she heard some of the conversations. "I didn't think he liked her!"
"Do you know her name? I've never seen her before.."
"Maybe she just moved here from another town. She must be a junior, because Troy would never date someone younger..."
Sarah rolled her eyes. Julie walked up beside her, seeing as they had this class together. "What's with all the rumors about you and Troy?" She asked. Sarah grinned. "I'll tell you in class. They say Mrs. Gliven is half deaf..."
