The water dragon slipped in and out through the suken trees of the forest, his airbubble encasing his jaws.
He was greeny-blue with a king of ridge of hair like a fin rippling down his spine. Blade started to edge toward the surface of the surreal, watery world when a flash caught his eye.
Buried in the mud and grass below, an emerald sparkled. He swan closer and grabbed it, eyes widening at the flaw of blue spiraling through the stone.
A single word floated in a bubble to the surface. "Dude."

Lilitu was meditating nearby, enjoying the coolness of the water she was half-submerging herself in, and the warmth of the sunlight peeking through the trees, speckling across her skin. It was a very nice day, but she couldn't help but worry about where Leonard, her husband, was. She sent him away quite harshly.
At least she could enjoy her inhuman form when he wasn't around. Humanoid though it was, there was an eerie, snake-like darkness about it. Leonard didn't know that she was truly herself when appearing as vile as she did. But suddenly, her mind was distracted by something glimmering beneath the surface of the water. There were several other glimmers as well that excited her.
"What could these be?"
She prepared to dive below, antsy and anxious.

Blade glanced up at the movement of water above and coiled himself around the emerald as he gazed at it. It was so beautiful, yet so flawed.
He was not one to think about the mysteries of life and decided the stone could hardly be taken from him now. "Rocking! The Emmy is iced." he murmured, glancing around and noticing other glitters, but ignoring them in favour of his flawed stone.

A marvelous aquamarine caught Lilitu's eyes almost instantly, though a pale star sapphire was almost next. She skimmed the water barely with her inhuman abilities, her black hair just barely managing to stay dry as it fluttered above the surface.
And then, another life force came into her sight. A dragon.

Blade looked around, then grinned and pulled a piece of strong flaxgrass that still grew out from the ground. He pulled the flaxen grass through a small hole near the top of the stone. Perfect... he thought, before finally noticing something coming towards him.
