My arms wrapped around Seth, and I fell into the kiss, closing my eyes as I pressed against him.
He wished.
Instead, I pushed him away from me, and slapped him across the face. "What the hell? I do NOT like you that way! I barely like you!"
"Mysty, I'm sorry. I just-"
"No, Seth!" I pushed him out of the tree, and he landed with a thud on the forest floor below. "Don't you dare come back up!"
He began to climb the tree again, when a hand darted out of the foliage and grabbed him by the throat.
"She said not to come back up, dog." A voice sneered as the young man it belonged to stepped out of the shadows, throwing Seth to the ground. I gasped. He could've been Seth's twin if not for his white and striking red eyes.
An albino.
Seth jumped to his feet, teeth bared, a feral snarl escaping his throat. "What the hell are you doing on our territory, asshole?" He growled, the two of them slowly circling each other.
"I was sent to talk to your alpha. Apparently, your lot were spotted on our territory, plebeian." The kid looked up into the tree, where I was desperately trying to hide. "I never thought Lupus of all would resort to kidnapping. Now, if you excuse me, I have a job to do." He padded off into the distance, and I slid down one of the branches, meaning to follow him. Seth grabbed my arm as I walked past, keeping me from going any further.
"We need to talk." He said, concern flashing in his eyes. "What I did up there, it-"
"Whatever Seth. Forget about it." I ran after the albino, straining to catch up.

Officer Dave sat down once again to read Mysty's case file. Though he had only known the girl for a short amount of time, he had known it wasn't like her to run. It was them.
Damn wolves... why are they constantly interfering with our business? He thought, as a loud banging caught his attention. "What?" He barked, putting the file away. He really didn't have time for this.
"Mysty's mother is downstairs, throwing a fit about why we haven't found her daughter yet. Should I send her up?"
"Yeah... I'll deal with it..."
Sighing, Dave leaned back in his chair, closing his eyes. Mrs. Alkabishe' was becoming a liability. She would have to be taken care of.
"Where the hell is my daughter?" Came the sound of Mysty's mother's voice, jolting him out of his reprieve. "You've had three days and I still don't know anything about the case!"
"We don't know. We've found out that the tracks around there were wolves, and the blood turned out to belong to some teenager we've seen lurking around your place. So we're still holding out for this to turn out to be another run away case."
"Dave. That is NOT good enough!"
"Our best man is on the case. Don't worry."
He wished.
