I fell backward into Lupus, who staggered to hold me up. Seth had a tail! "He... he has a tail!" I yelled. My temper had hidden away, but it had been replaced by fear, and surprise.
"Yeah... some of us like to walk around with part of our wolfen self revealed." Lupus explained. As if I cared about that. The kid had a tail! A freaking tail!
"Both the Alpha, and Lupus told you we were shape shifters." Seth sneered. "Do you believe them now?"
"No. This is some sort of trick, or I'm hallucinating, or it's a dream."
"Well, you are welcome to stay in this dream until you come to terms with your shape shifting abilities. Not that you could return home anyway." Lupus said quietly.
"What? I can't?" I cried, falling to my knees. "Why?"
"Because you know our secrets, that's why." The Alpha left, and the group sort of broke up, leaving me, Seth, and Lupus alone in the clearing.
"I am going to go find some water." I snarled, stomping out of the clearing, fists clenched.
"I'll come with you." Seth said, following me. Whatever.
Like I cared what he did.
A stream ran just outside of their camp, full of clear water. Standing near the edge, I looked down into it, watching fish swim around in circles.
"Thirsty?" Seth walked past me, his shoulder brushing mine as he went.
And of course, with my luck, that threw me off balance just enough to send me sprawling into the water below.
Oh God, what a day to be wearing a white t-shirt.
"What the hell did you do that for?" I roared, pulling myself out. Seth didn't answer, just continued staring. At me.
At my chest to be more precise.
"Hello? My face is up here!" I barked, turning away from him.
"What? Oh, right... sorry..." Seth said, padding back into camp. I sat there for a while, staring into the disturbed water. Seth.
What a pervert.
About ten minutes later, something was thrown at the back of my head, before falling to my side. Looking down, I saw a black t-shirt, with a note stuck to it.
Sorry, I hope this is a good enough substitute while your shirt dries.

Whoa... I thought he really does care.
