The Perdu are my primary alien race!
Stat-wise, they are pretty similar to humans, but the females are usually a few inches taller, for them "short" being anything under 5'5". They usually weigh a little more, too, because their skin is thicker, and in place of hair, they sometimes have extra layers of skin or dangling cartlige. They aren't as mobile or athletic as humans naturally, but they can work out to be.
Their appearances are quite different, even though the Perdu are very humanoid. The color of their skin can be anything, and sometimes there are patterns, spots, speckles, stripes, etc. in places. Their noses are a little bit smaller and button-y, and they have large foreheads. Eyelashes are extremely long, and they have tiny but very hollow ears. Their eyes are a little bit bigger (just a little bit) and come in every color of the rainbow, and the Perdu that live in certain areas (mostly the north part of Hespera) actually have eyes that change colors (although it's only from a portion of colors - greens to blues, reds to yellow's, warm colors, cold colors, etc.).
The Perdu call their planet "Arasoo-Adauso", though the people from Phira call it "Hespera". Phira is like Earth, it just has a different name ( ), and Hespera is one of it's moons.
Phira's moons:
Hespera / Arasoo-Adauso, home of the Perdu
aaand I haven't thought of anymore. ;
The Perdu, though nice at heart, are rather egocentric and have their own views on other planet life. If the planet isn't well populated and the I.Q. of that population isn't very great, then they feel it's okay for them to go in and take over. They don't do it by killing everyone, of course, but they send their species there to populate and gradually take over, usually taking up the "lesser" species as servants.
Though they experience every other emotion regularly, the Perdu hardly ever experience anger, with the exception of a few. They always let things that humans would blow up at simply roll off their back, or make jokes, or like Princess Arriwoe, stare blankly and wonder what's wrong. They also live for a very long time, at least two or three lifetimes more than a human.
The planet of Hespera / Arasoo-Adauso is very warm and dry, desert-like in most areas. The largest area that isn't desert-like is called The Oasis, where important officials live. Otherwise, since the Perdu can easily tolerate the dryness and warmth of their planet, they live everywhere else.
There are several "royal" figureheads (though the names King, Queen, Princess / Prince are not used as their titles (I still have to come up with new ones hehe so I'll still use them for now) Arriwoe uses "Princess" because she's a rebel) that make up the "Unity of Worlds" with two other planets deeper in the solar system.
Haven't come up with names for those, either.
Princess Arriwoe's father, "King" Gluwath, is in this Unity of Worlds and does not notice his daughter's distress.
I'll probably add more later.
